About the Artist

A student of Georgetown University, Samhir Vasdev is a senior in the College, studying Government and African Studies.

Samhir spent his 2009 Fall Term studying in Buenos Aires, and he can't wait to return some day. He can speak Spanish, understands some Punjabi and Hindi, and speaks some Swahili.

Playing, watching, or reading about soccer are Samhir's favorite pastimes. He has curiously significant trouble taking right turns in cars, and he cannot make himself burp. He's from Corvallis, Oregon, and has two brothers.

Samhir is the Downhill Tumble and Roll Champ, King of the Toad Finders, Captain of the High Altitude Vista Club, second place finisher in the 'Round the Yard Backward Dash, Premier Burper State Division, Sodbuster and Worm Scout First Order, and Generalissimo of the Mud and Mayhem Society.

He also enjoys reading Calvin and Hobbes.
